
Metaplanet, a Japanese public company, has raised ¥2 billion ($13.4 million) through the issuance of zero-interest bonds to fund the acquisition of additional Bitcoin. The funds were allocated to Evo Fund and backed by stock acquisition rights. The company has utilized these funds to purchase 150 BTC, valued at approximately $12.5 million, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to 3,200 BTC. With this latest acquisition, Metaplanet now ranks as the tenth-largest BTC-holding public entity.
