Clark County has approved zoning plans for a new movie studio called Summerlin Production Studios in Las Vegas. The studio, a $1.8 billion project, will cover about 31 acres and encompass 10 buildings with approximately 500,000 square feet. Sony Pictures and Howard Hughes Holdings are partners on the project, aiming to create a new Hollywood in Summerlin.
