Rowland Marcus Andrade, founder and CEO of NAC Foundation LLC, was convicted of wire fraud and money laundering related to a cryptocurrency marketing scheme, as announced by the U.S. Department of Justice on March 13, 2025. Andrade misled investors into believing they were part of legitimate cryptocurrency ventures, ultimately defrauding them of millions. Separately, Thomas John Sfraga, known as 'T.J. Stone,' a Brooklyn podcaster and cryptocurrency personality, was sentenced to 45 months in federal prison for defrauding investors out of over $2 million. Sfraga, who pled guilty, used fictitious businesses, including one named after a fictional company from the television show 'Seinfeld,' to perpetrate his scheme. In addition to his prison sentence, he was ordered to forfeit $1.3 million.
