Autodesk Beats Estimates, Lifts FY26 Outlook as Regulatory Probes End

Autodesk reported second-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $1.76 billion, a 17% year-on-year increase that topped the $1.72 billion analysts expected. Adjusted earnings rose to $2.62 a share, beating the $2.45 consensus, while billings jumped 36% to $1.68 billion. The company also disclosed that U.S. regulators have ended probes into its cash-flow and non-GAAP margin disclosures. The Securities and Exchange Commission closed its inquiry on Aug. 19, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California followed suit on Aug. 21, removing a lingering overhang as Autodesk pursues growth in generative-AI-enabled design tools.
