Autodesk reported second-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $1.76 billion, a 17% year-on-year increase that topped the $1.72 billion analysts expected. Adjusted earnings rose to $2.62 a share, beating the $2.45 consensus, while billings jumped 36% to $1.68 billion. The Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations unit led growth, with revenue up 23% to $878 million. On the back of the stronger-than-anticipated quarter, the design-software maker lifted its guidance. For the October quarter it now projects adjusted earnings of $2.48 to $2.51 a share on revenue of $1.80 billion to $1.81 billion. For the full fiscal year ending January 2026, Autodesk sees revenue of $7.025 billion to $7.075 billion and adjusted earnings of $9.80 to $9.98 a share, up from a prior range that peaked at $9.73. The company also disclosed that U.S. regulators have ended probes into its cash-flow and non-GAAP margin disclosures. The Securities and Exchange Commission closed its inquiry on Aug. 19, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California followed suit on Aug. 21, removing a lingering overhang as Autodesk pursues growth in generative-AI-enabled design tools.
