CBDT Launches e-Dispute Resolution Scheme to Reduce Tax Litigation

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has launched the e-Dispute Resolution Scheme, 2022, aimed at reducing litigation and providing relief to eligible taxpayers. Under this scheme, taxpayers can electronically file applications for dispute resolution. Dispute Resolution Committees have been established in all 18 jurisdictional Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (Pr. CCIT) regions across the country.
