Citigroup is shifting responsibility for a key piece of its compliance work and around 800 employees from Chief Operating Officer Anand Selva after the bank was fined $136 million by regulators this summer for reporting failures. The responsibility for fixing data management issues will now be shared by technology head Tim Ryan and Selva, as a memo shows. This move comes as part of Citigroup's efforts to address longstanding data issues following the substantial $136 million fine.
