Columbus Reaches Preliminary Agreement in Data Breach Lawsuit with Connor Goodwolf

The City of Columbus has reached a preliminary agreement with cybersecurity expert Connor Goodwolf in a data breach lawsuit related to the Rhysida ransomware attack. Despite the agreement on a restraining order, the lawsuit continues. The civil suit has drawn criticism from 112 cybersecurity experts, including 106 who argue that Goodwolf's actions were in good faith and call for City Attorney Klein to drop the lawsuit and refocus on public safety.
