The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) has announced the confiscation of 9.3 million CHF in profits from Leonteq, a fintech company that breached serious risk management obligations. This sanction follows Leonteq's involvement in questionable transactions, including fraud related to Eramet, which has drawn scrutiny from French authorities. The company's stock has experienced a significant decline in response to the regulatory action. Additionally, Switzerland has revealed the value of frozen Syrian assets that have been held for several years, although specific figures were not disclosed in the available information.
