A former program manager for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at the Phoenix Suns has filed a lawsuit against the team, alleging harassment, racial discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. The lawsuit, initiated on November 14, 2024, claims that Andrea Trischan was fired for attempting to implement changes to the team's workplace culture following the scandal that led to former owner Robert Sarver's suspension and subsequent sale of the team in 2022. The lawsuit seeks $60 million in damages. In a separate case, TSMC, a semiconductor manufacturing company, is facing a discrimination lawsuit in Arizona, led by talent director Deborah Howington, with current and former employees alleging preferential treatment for Taiwanese workers over non-Taiwanese employees, including Americans and white workers.
