A U.S. bankruptcy court has approved FTX’s plan to begin its next distribution of funds to creditors on 30 September 2025. The ruling frees up about $1.9 billion for the upcoming payout and reduces the exchange’s disputed-claim reserve to $4.3 billion from $6.5 billion. Creditors eligible for the disbursement will be determined by a record date of 15 August 2025, according to court filings.
