Karen Read's Appeal to Dismiss Charges to Be Heard by Full Supreme Judicial Court in November

Karen Read is currently appealing a ruling by Judge Beverly Cannone, which kept all charges against her intact for her next trial. The full Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts is scheduled to hear oral arguments in November regarding Read’s bid to have two of the three charges against her dismissed. Previously, the appeal had been in the hands of a single justice. Additionally, a group of 'Free Karen Read' protesters, who had sued Canton Police after being warned of arrest for witness intimidation, had their lawsuit appeal dismissed by a federal court.
