KiloEx, a decentralized exchange, has successfully recovered all $8 million in assets stolen due to a price manipulation vulnerability in its smart contract. The recovery was completed within 3.5 days, with the assistance of cybersecurity firms SlowMist and MistTrack, who helped trace the attacker and negotiate the return of the funds. The attacker returned approximately $1.4 million in USDT to KiloEx, with the remainder of the funds being recovered through the efforts of the involved parties. KiloEx has promised the attacker a 10% bounty for returning the stolen assets, amounting to $800,000. All affected users have been fully reimbursed, and KiloEx is moving forward with legal actions against the perpetrators. The platform's swift response and collaboration with cybersecurity experts, including the BNBChain ecosystem, facilitated the recovery process.
