Pushpesh Kumar Baid, also known as PK Jain, has pleaded guilty in the Eastern District of New York to conspiracy to commit wire fraud related to a scheme that defrauded investors in Tradepay Capital LLC, a purported factoring company, and Luxestreet, a purported pawn shop for high-end goods. Separately, a former director of an Oakland nonprofit is set to plead guilty to charges involving the misappropriation of a $50,000 donation from NBA player Steph Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry. Additionally, a man from Longmeadow has pleaded guilty in connection with a $19 million loan fraud scheme.
