Elon Musk’s SpaceX is now holding Bitcoin valued at more than $1 billion, according to on-chain analytics firm Arkham. Blockchain data show the rocket company owns about 8,285 BTC, having first bought the cryptocurrency on 31 December 2020 and making its most recent purchase on 10 June 2022. The position has gained roughly 270 % as Bitcoin’s price recovered from last year’s lows, lifting the privately held company’s paper gains above nine figures. Separately, Tron founder and crypto investor Justin Sun has filed a lawsuit in Delaware federal court seeking to block Bloomberg LP from publishing a detailed breakdown of his digital-asset holdings. In a 14-page complaint first reported by Crypto Briefing, Sun says he provided the information solely for verification of his net worth for inclusion in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index after receiving assurances it would remain confidential. He argues that releasing granular wallet data would breach that agreement, contain inaccuracies and expose him to heightened security risks. Sun is asking the court for a temporary restraining order, permanent injunction and legal costs.
