
Star Health, one of India's biggest health insurance firms, has sued Telegram and a self-styled hacker after reports emerged that the hacker was using chatbots on the messaging app to leak personal data and medical reports of policyholders. The company is investigating the cybersecurity incident, which allegedly exposed sensitive customer information, including medical records. A state court has granted Star Health a temporary injunction ordering Telegram to stop the chatbots from leaking data.
