Dallas-based AT&T faces a second class-action lawsuit over a data breach that occurred in April 2024, exposing data belonging to nearly 9 million wireless customers. Regulators have criticized AT&T for failing to ensure that a third-party vendor adequately protected customer data. The second class-action lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
