
Adam Iza, the founder and CEO of cryptocurrency trading platform Zort, has been arrested and charged by the FBI, along with an unnamed co-conspirator, with fraud, bribery, and corrupting law enforcement. The indictment alleges that they orchestrated a $230 million cryptocurrency scam. Iza is accused of paying three Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies $280,000 a month to unlawfully file search warrants and seize assets from targeted individuals, effectively using law enforcement to extort victims.
