The Aave decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) has been increasing its holdings of Ethereum (ETH)-correlated assets by an average of 100 ETH weekly. In the broader decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape, Etherlink has emerged as the fastest-growing blockchain over the past week, surpassing $15 million in total value locked (TVL), with a reported $28 million on DeFiLlama. This growth is primarily attributed to the Apple Farm incentive program, which has allocated $3 million to enhance DeFi activities. Additionally, Celo's decentralized exchange (DEX) volume has surged to $1.06 billion in just seven days, marking a 192% increase and positioning it ahead of competitors like Avalanche, Sonic, and Polygon. A significant portion of this volume, over $1 billion, was generated by Mento Labs. Meanwhile, Sonic Labs has reported a total value locked of $509 million, making it the largest protocol on its chain, with 643,000 Sonic Gems representing a 38.2% share. The Aave protocol commands a market cap of $17.5 billion, accounting for 97% of total lending TVL and generating $183 million in fees during the first quarter from $12.8 billion in active loans. Aave's GHO stablecoin and $1 million weekly buybacks are reshaping its revenue dynamics.
