The Avalanche network has launched its Avalanche9000 upgrade on the mainnet, which aims to reduce transaction fees, enhance performance, and introduce a new subscription model for validators. This upgrade is part of a broader initiative to incentivize user engagement, including a trading carnival with a total prize pool of $7,000 AVA. Participants can trade AVA to share in $4,000 AVA, while users trading AVA will earn $5 AVA each. Affiliates promoting the contest will receive $10 in AVA. The trading carnival is set to conclude on January 3rd. Additionally, VALR has initiated a rewards program, distributing $1,000 to the top 10 weekly referrers and $750 to the top 10 newly referred users based on trade volume. The platform has also distributed 100 $AVAX to participants in the Avalanche December event, with ongoing trading incentives available.
