Binance’s dominance in cryptocurrency spot trading continues to grow, with cumulative turnover on tokens listed this year reaching about $133 billion, according to market‐data provider CryptoQuant. The figure highlights the exchange’s ability to attract liquidity for new assets even as the broader digital‐asset market remains volatile. Robust trading has been accompanied by renewed demand for Binance’s native BNB token, which touched a record high this week. Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng said the milestone underscores the commitment of the platform’s global community of developers and users. In a further push to expand its product suite, Singapore-based Plasma Foundation announced a partnership with Binance Earn to launch what it calls the first fully on-chain yield product, aiming to reach hundreds of millions of users. Plasma said part of its token supply will be earmarked for incentives that encourage decentralised-finance mining, liquidity provision and exchange integrations. Separately, Binance is preparing to celebrate the fifth anniversary of its BNB Chain with three weeks of quests, community challenges and ask-me-anything sessions running from 25 August to 15 September. The campaign will distribute $480,000 in rewards to participants.
