Bitcoin-Backed Lombard Finance Launches $BARD Token Sale on Buidlpad August 26 With $6.75M Target, $450M Valuation, 100% TGE Unlocking

Lombard Finance, a Bitcoin-backed decentralized finance (DeFi) lending protocol, is set to launch its native token, $BARD, through a community token sale on the Buidlpad launchpad platform. The sale is scheduled to begin on August 26, with a total fundraising target of $6.75 million and a fully diluted valuation of $450 million. The token sale will feature a contribution range from $50 to $5,000, accepting payments in USD, BNB, and LBTC, and will offer 100% token unlocking on the token generation event (TGE) day. Lombard Finance recently established the Liquid Bitcoin Foundation and currently manages the largest Bitcoin liquid staking token, $LBTC, which holds 13,455 BTC reserves and a total value locked (TVL) of $1.64 billion, representing 40% of the market share. According to on-chain data, 72.5% of $LBTC tokens are actively participating in DeFi protocols. Previous projects launched on Buidlpad, such as Solayer and Sahara, have reportedly generated returns for investors. The token sale will also include a whitelist mechanism based on community tasks that affect allocation priority.
