Bitcoin rallied on 1 May 2025, climbing above $96,000 and later breaching $97,000 for the first time since a market correction in February. Market trackers including BTCTN reported an intraday peak near $97,470, representing a seven-day high and extending the session’s rapid gains. At its latest price, the world’s largest cryptocurrency is now less than 4% away from the symbolic $100,000 threshold. Crypto outlet Decrypt noted that analysts view the rebound as evidence of "long-term momentum," while traders are increasingly positioning for a potential move above six figures in the days ahead.
