Several major corporate entities have significantly increased their Ethereum (ETH) holdings, reflecting growing institutional interest in the cryptocurrency. BitMine (BMNR) has acquired 833,137 ETH, valued at approximately $2.9 billion, over the past five weeks, making it the largest corporate ETH holder with a goal to reach 5% of the total ETH supply. SharpLink Gaming (SBET) recently purchased an additional 83,561 ETH worth $264.5 million, bringing its total holdings to 521,939 ETH valued at around $1.94 billion. SharpLink's co-CEO Joseph Chalom stated that their ETH treasury strategy extends beyond staking, aiming to actively utilize Ethereum. GameSquare has authorized a stock buyback program funded by yields from its Ethereum holdings, having recently acquired 2,717 ETH for $10 million, increasing its treasury to 15,630.07 ETH. The Ether Machine also continues to add to its ETH reserves, including a recent $40 million purchase. In total, SharpLink and BitMine now hold a combined $4.8 billion in Ethereum. Additionally, BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, has acquired 23,875 ETH for approximately $88.8 million, signaling heightened institutional demand amid rising interest in crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Ethereum's market price has recently surpassed $3,700, with on-chain volume and active addresses reaching multi-year highs, underscoring renewed market momentum.
