Bitwise has announced the merger of three of its futures ETFs into a single product, the Trendwise Bitcoin and Treasuries Rotation ETF. This innovative ETF will dynamically shift between full exposure to Bitcoin futures and U.S. Treasuries, depending on market conditions, aiming to hedge risk while capitalizing on Bitcoin's volatility. This move comes amid a broader trend of increasing interest in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in 2024, with positive inflows reported despite some losses in other funds. Notably, Bitwise's Bitcoin ETF purchased $15.3 million worth of Bitcoin recently. Yesterday's Bitcoin ETF flows were positive for $25.6 million. The price of Bitcoin has been fluctuating, currently sitting at around $62,000 after recovering from $61,000. The ETF market's impact on Bitcoin's price was evident earlier this year when ETF buying pressure pushed Bitcoin past $73,000 in March. BlackRock has also been actively buying Bitcoin, suggesting potential for further market movements in Q4.
