Publicly listed blockchain infrastructure firm BTCS Inc. expanded its cryptocurrency treasury, purchasing an additional 2,731 ether for about $8.12 million. Cointelegraph reported that the company financed part of the transaction with a $2.34 million tether loan obtained through the decentralized-finance platform Aave. The latest acquisition lifts BTCS’s ether balance to roughly 31,855 coins, valued at about $96 million at prevailing market prices.
