[COINDESK] Bybit Beefs Up Asset Security Following $1.45B
Bybit has announced a partnership with Zodiac Custody to enhance asset security for institutional clients. This collaboration aims to provide independent custody services, addressing the growing need for secure asset management in the cryptocurrency sector. In conjunction with this announcement, Bybit is launching a trading promotion called the Liquidity Shield Trading Frenzy, which offers a total of 1 million USDT in rewards across various trading initiatives, including a 300,000 USDT liquidity shield and additional prizes for participants. This move follows a recent incident where Bybit faced a security breach involving $1.45 billion, prompting the exchange to bolster its asset security measures.
