Circle Internet Financial has created an additional 1.25 billion units of its USD-pegged stablecoin on the Solana blockchain over the past week, according to on-chain data compiled by several analytics services on Aug. 18. The latest tranche lifts the amount of USDC minted on Solana so far in 2025 to about 24 billion tokens, underscoring continuing demand for dollar-denominated liquidity on the high-speed network even as prices for major cryptocurrencies have retreated in recent sessions.
