Circle, a major issuer of the stablecoin USDC, has minted an additional $250 million worth of USDC on the Solana blockchain. This latest minting, which occurred 9 minutes ago, brings the total issuance of USDC on Solana to $9.5 billion since the beginning of 2025. In addition to the minting on Solana, Circle has also minted significant amounts of USDC at the USDC Treasury, with transactions including 50 million USDC and 66.499 million USDC in recent days. Another 250 million USDC was minted at the USDC Treasury 30 minutes ago, just ahead of the upcoming Crypto Summit.
