
Hyperliquid, a decentralized exchange known for its high-speed trading capabilities, has launched HyperEVM on its mainnet, introducing general-purpose programmability to its financial system. The initial release of HyperEVM includes blocks that are part of Layer 1 execution, secured by HyperBFT consensus, and enables spot transfers between native and HyperEVM HYPE tokens. Hyperliquid also launched a mainnet bug bounty program and provided real-time block data streams to facilitate node operation. The platform aims to allow developers to build Ethereum-compatible smart contracts with enhanced performance, maintaining its fast, low-latency trading infrastructure.
