KernelDAO's native cryptocurrency token, $KERNEL, has officially launched and is now trading on multiple major exchanges, including Binance, KuCoin, Kraken, HTX, and Coinbase. Trading began on April 14, 2025, with the token initially priced at $0.32. It has since reached $0.323, reflecting a 222% increase on KuCoin over a 24-hour period. KernelDAO operates within a $2 billion ecosystem across Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain, ranking as the third-largest player in the restaking sector. The project features a total value locked (TVL) exceeding $2 billion, with 600,000 ETH in Kelp. The token has a circulating supply of 16% at launch, with a 70/30 unlock schedule for top addresses and a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of approximately $305 million. The launch also included a Season 1 airdrop for eligible participants, with criteria such as re-staking $100 worth of ETH during the first season. Binance also hosted a megadrop, and KuCoin offered a giveaway of 30,000 $KERNEL tokens. Coinbase has listed $KERNEL as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network, with trading on the KERNEL-USD pair subject to liquidity availability.
