Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has announced the completion of its acquisition of Dutch cryptocurrency broker Coin Meester B.V. (BCM). This strategic move strengthens Kraken’s footprint in the European market, particularly in the Netherlands, and enhances its ability to offer Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) services across several European countries, including France and Poland. Coin Meester is one of the Netherlands' oldest registered crypto brokers, and its acquisition marks a significant step in Kraken's European expansion. According to Kraken’s European Managing Director, Brian, this acquisition also adds VASP licenses in France and Poland.
