MagicNewton Debuts NEWT Token With Airdrop to KaitoAI Stakers

MagicNewton has launched its NEWT token, according to multiple participants on the KaitoAI platform. Users who previously staked the KAITO token or engaged with the platform’s so-called “yapping” social features report that NEWT allocations have appeared in their airdrop tabs. Screenshots shared by community members indicate that an allotment of 746 NEWT is currently valued at about $360, implying a reference price near $0.48 per token. The newtfoundation, which oversees the distribution, is expected to publish formal claiming instructions, but early recipients say the tokens can already be accessed. The drop follows a series of incentive campaigns on KaitoAI aimed at drawing developers and liquidity providers to artificial-intelligence and DeFi projects built on the network. Community advocates describe the allocation as part of a broader effort to expand MagicNewton’s ecosystem ahead of a planned token-generation event.
