Between August 15 and 19, 2025, multiple large cryptocurrency transfers occurred involving major tokens such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), and OKB. Notable transactions include the movement of nearly 14,000 ETH valued at over $61 million from Cumberland to Coinbase Institutional, and several transfers of BTC ranging from hundreds to thousands of coins, with values exceeding hundreds of millions of dollars. Tether Treasury and exchanges like Kraken, Bitfinex, OKEX, Aave, Binance, and Coinbase Institutional were heavily involved in USDT transfers, with single transactions reaching up to $652 million. OKEX also received large amounts of OKB tokens, including transfers worth over $2 billion. Several newly created wallets were involved in large transfers, such as one receiving approximately 15,752 ETH valued at around $68 million from FalconX. Galaxy Digital reported an outflow of about 1,300 BTC during this period. The activity reflects significant liquidity movements across multiple exchanges and wallets, with many transfers occurring between unknown wallets, institutional accounts, and major crypto platforms.
