One whale acquired 19,550 ETH worth $70.7 million over 10 hours via FalconX, contributing to a cumulative purchase of 122,000 ETH valued at $435 million since July 12, with an average cost of $3,213 per ETH and an unrealized gain of $41.34 million. Another whale, possibly linked to Cumberland, has accumulated 23,463 ETH valued at about $76.5 million since June 18, with an average purchase price of $3,261 and a current unrealized profit of $6.63 million. This investor recently added 3,263 ETH at an average price of $3,602, spending $11.75 million. A separate whale spent $17.09 million to buy 4,773 ETH at an average price of $3,581.22, having previously profited $605,000 from ETH trading between June 20 and July 2. Additionally, one whale or institution used $64.04 million in USDT to purchase 18,557 ETH at an average price of $3,451 over two days. This buyer leveraged their position by borrowing $16.75 million USDT via Aave after converting funds from platforms including Crypto.com and Cumberland, resulting in a current holding of approximately 38,000 ETH. These buying activities coincide with a rare Ethereum premium on Coinbase and record inflows into spot ETFs, indicating strong institutional demand and potential for a market breakout.
