Between August 3 and August 8, 2025, multiple large cryptocurrency transfers involving Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and USD Coin (USDC) were recorded, primarily involving Coinbase Institutional and several unknown wallets. Notably, a mysterious entity created six new wallets over four days, accumulating approximately 171,015 ETH valued at $667 million from institutional platforms including FalconX, Galaxy Digital, and BitGo. This entity received 23,424 ETH worth $91.65 million within one hour and 10,396 ETH valued at $40.6 million within two hours from FalconX alone. Additionally, Coinbase Institutional moved substantial amounts of ETH and BTC to unknown wallets, including transfers of 42,394 ETH ($154.7 million), 27,399 ETH ($101.3 million), and 1,000 BTC ($113.7 million). Other significant transfers included 1,400 BTC ($160.2 million) between unknown wallets and a $174 million USDC transfer to Coinbase. Exchanges such as Kraken, Bybit, and Cumberland were also involved in large BTC transactions. A multisignature address linked to Ethereum staking and interactions with block builders Beaver Builder and Titan Builder was reported to have recently deposited 9,000 ETH ($35.3 million) to Kraken, suggesting possible sell-off activity. Overall, these movements indicate active large-scale accumulation and redistribution of cryptocurrencies among institutional and unidentified holders.
