The SUI stablecoin market has reached a new milestone with its market capitalization hitting $1 billion, doubling in just two months. This growth is driven by a $657 million increase since January, marking a 177% rise, with USDC on the SUI network growing sevenfold to $738 million since November. The SUI ecosystem's stablecoin supply includes USDC, FDUSD, AUSD, USDY, and BUCK, supporting liquidity and decentralized finance (DeFi) expansion. Meanwhile, Solana's blockchain ecosystem demonstrated resilience in the first quarter of 2025, with its chain GDP rising 20% quarter-over-quarter to $1.2 billion, and its stablecoin market cap surging 145.2% to $12.5 billion. Solana-based applications generated $1.2 billion in revenue during Q1 2025, led by Pump.fun with $257 million, followed by Phantom and Photon. USDC's market cap on Solana reached $9.7 billion, four times larger than USDT. The decentralized exchange (DEX) daily trading volume on Solana increased 40%, and the network's revenue surpassed $10 million. Additionally, a survey by Fireblocks involving 295 financial executives revealed that 90% of institutional players are using or considering stablecoins, primarily for faster B2B cross-border payments, with regulatory concerns decreasing. The BNB Chain also showed strong performance, doubling its weekly trading volume to $16.74 billion and achieving $4.34 billion in daily DEX volume, becoming the largest chain by DEX volume recently. Arbitrum, a Layer 2 scaling solution on Ethereum, surpassed $1.5 billion in cumulative trading volume on Uniswap, indicating growing adoption of Layer 2 ecosystems.
