
Tether has minted $1 billion USDT on the TRON network without incurring any fees, according to multiple reports. Tether's CEO Paolo Ardoino clarified that the minted amount, valued at $999,757,500, is "authorized but not issued," indicating it is intended for future use rather than immediate circulation. Meanwhile, Circle has minted an additional $250 million USDC on the Solana blockchain, bringing its total USDC issuance on Solana this month to $5.75 billion since January 2. Ethereum has also shown strong performance, currently trading at $3,273.28, up 5.09% today, and outperforming Bitcoin, which is trading at $105,472.00, up 2.60%. This trend has fueled speculation about an impending altcoin season, with Ethereum's recent 45% monthly rise contributing to market optimism.
