This growth is largely driven by tokenized private credit, which constitutes $11.9 billion, or 69% of the total RWAs, and tokenized U.S. Treasury debt, amounting to $3.5 billion. In the last three months alone, the RWA market has added $4 billion, marking a year-over-year growth of 94%. Additionally, R3 Sustainability and Chintai have launched a $795 million fund aimed at backing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) projects, further emphasizing the growing institutional interest in tokenized assets.
