Within a 24-hour period, @qwatio faced liquidations amounting to 1,177 BTC (valued at $128.3 million) and 34,466 ETH (valued at $86.82 million), leading to total losses exceeding $15 million in ten days. At one point, his short positions included 237.25 BTC at 40x leverage with an entry price of $106,697.3, and ETH positions at 25x leverage. Despite these losses, the trader remains overall profitable, having previously gained $26 million from three addresses but has since lost $15 million in recent liquidations. The volatility in BTC prices, which fluctuated around $105,500 during this period, contributed to the repeated liquidations as the trader added to his short positions and faced price rebounds.
