RAKBANK, one of the United Arab Emirates’ largest lenders, has launched in-app cryptocurrency trading, making Binance Coin (BNB) and seven other digital assets available to retail customers. The bank’s new service was confirmed by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, who said BNB is now tradable on the platform. The banking rollout underscores accelerating mainstream adoption of digital assets across the UAE. Earlier in the day, several UAE airlines began allowing passengers to pay for flights in cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ether and Tether, broadening the country’s crypto payment options beyond the banking sector.
