At prevailing market prices, the buying spree is valued at about $114 million to $115 million. Analysts tracking the flows said the wallet may be linked to crypto investment firm DeFiance Capital, although the owner has not been publicly confirmed. Separately, social-media monitoring of blockchain addresses attributed to BlackRock indicates the asset-management giant accumulated about $1.3 billion worth of ether during the week. BlackRock has not publicly commented on the reported transactions.
