Between April 30 and May 2, 2025, substantial cryptocurrency transactions took place involving USDC, BTC, XRP, and USDT. On April 30, the USDC Treasury minted 250 million USDC, equivalent to approximately $249.98 million. Following this, multiple large Bitcoin transfers occurred, including 940 BTC (about $88.44 million) moved to Coinbase Institutional, 1,100 BTC (around $104 million) transferred between unknown wallets, and 1,568 BTC (valued at roughly $150.77 million) moved first to Cumberland and then from Cumberland to Coinbase Institutional. On May 1, 150 million USDC (approximately $149.99 million) was transferred from Zero Hash to the USDC Treasury and subsequently burned. Additional Bitcoin transfers included 1,246 BTC ($121.18 million) and 748 BTC ($72.26 million) moved to Coinbase from unknown wallets and CryptoCom, respectively. XRP transactions were notable, with 500 million XRP (valued at $1.1 billion) transferred from unknown wallets to Ripple and locked in escrow, including a specific escrow lock of 170 million XRP worth about $376.27 million. Bitcoin movements continued on May 2 with transfers such as 700 BTC ($67.74 million) from Coinbase Institutional to Kraken, 799 BTC ($77.45 million) from Binance to Coinbase, and 596 BTC ($57.85 million) from Kraken to an unknown wallet. A large transfer of 3,289 BTC valued at $318.88 million was moved from an unidentified wallet to Coinbase Institutional. Additionally, 200 million USDT (approximately $200.08 million) was transferred from Bitfinex to the Tether Treasury and then back to Bitfinex. Another transfer of 1,032 BTC (about $100.53 million) from an unknown wallet to Coinbase was also recorded. These transactions highlight active large-scale movements across major cryptocurrency platforms and wallets.
