Between August 25 and August 28, 2025, the USDC Treasury minted multiple large batches of USD Coin (USDC), with amounts ranging from approximately $50 million to $250 million per transaction. Notable minting events include several transactions of $250 million each on August 28. Concurrently, the Tether Treasury minted two separate batches of 1 billion USDT (Tether) on August 27 and August 28, totaling approximately $2 billion.
