GOOD MORNING CRYPTO MARKET ALTSEASON HAS STARTED!! https://t.co/E8KlKgPdLJ
A broad rally in alternative cryptocurrencies accelerated on Thursday, pushing XRP to a one-week gain of 33 % and within 5 % of its record high near $3.40. The token, issued by Ripple Labs, was recently quoted around $3.26 after jumping 10 % in the past 24 hours. Dogecoin broke above $0.20 for the first time in six weeks, while Solana and Cardano advanced roughly 6 % and 8 %, respectively. In all, 77 of the 100 largest digital assets traded higher from a day earlier, according to CoinMarketCap data. The rotation into so-called altcoins has eroded Bitcoin’s share of total crypto market value to 61.5 %, down from 65 % at the end of June, even as the world’s biggest cryptocurrency holds near the record levels set earlier this week. Altcoins now carry a combined capitalisation of about $1.44 trillion, a 47 % increase over the past three months.
