A wallet associated with the ZKasino scam, which defrauded investors of approximately $40 million, has suffered a loss exceeding $27 million. This loss occurred after a leveraged position was liquidated due to a sharp decline in Ethereum's price. The ZKasino project, which launched in April 2024, has been under scrutiny for its year-long silence regarding investor refunds. The liquidation took place on the Hyperliquid trading platform, highlighting the risks associated with high-leverage trading in the cryptocurrency market. The total amount stolen from users' Ethereum deposits by ZKasino is reported to be around $33 million.
