Meanwhile, Cumberland, a notable crypto entity, has been active with multiple large transactions involving Ethereum and Bitcoin (BTC). Cumberland withdrew 27,632 ETH worth about $50.24 million from Copper, Binance, and Coinbase, and moved substantial amounts of BTC, including transfers of 2,295 BTC valued at $218 million and 2,930 BTC worth approximately $279 million to Coinbase Institutional. A whale reportedly bought nearly $50 million worth of ETH on Coinbase and Binance. Additionally, a dormant Bitcoin whale wallet, which had gained $250 million since 2017, was drained resulting in a $330 million loss. In stablecoins, Tether Treasury minted $2 billion USDT in two separate $1 billion transactions within 15 minutes, while the USDC Treasury minted $250 million USDC and burned over $260 million USDC in separate transactions. On the altcoin front, a whale holding $147 million in assets withdrew 1.5 trillion PEPE tokens valued at $13.3 million from Binance. XRP also saw a large deposit of $68.7 million to Coinbase, sparking market speculation. These movements highlight significant liquidity shifts across major cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.
