$ISLAND Token Launches for Nifty Island's Play-to-Earn Ecosystem; 88% Airdrop Claimed and $50M Setup

The $ISLAND token, associated with the Ethereum gaming platform Nifty Island, has officially launched, introducing a new play-to-earn model for its users. Following a security issue earlier in the day, the platform announced that the token is now live and available for trading. Players who participated in the play-to-earn (P2E) campaign can claim their airdrop, with approximately 88% of the total airdrop already claimed. The $ISLAND token is an ERC-20 utility token that utilizes LayerZero technology to enable multi-chain functionality, initially focusing on Ethereum L2 Base and planning to expand to Solana. As of now, about 30% of the claimed tokens have been staked, and the community is encouraged to stake their tokens to earn rewards within the game. The launch is seen as a significant step in enhancing the creator-driven metaverse experience on the platform.
