Mexico is marking notable advancements in technology and economic development as it prepares to launch the Google Pixel 10 smartphone on August 28, 2025. The Pixel 10 will be the first device to enable voice and video calls on WhatsApp via satellite networks, enhancing connectivity even off the grid. Concurrently, Mexico has been recognized for its economic complexity, ranking 17th in the Harvard Economic Complexity Index. To further bolster the national economy, the Mexican Secretary of Economy Marcelo Ebrard and the president of the Mexican Business Council (CCE), Francisco Cervantes, have launched a campaign titled “Lo Hecho En México Está Mejor Hecho” (Made in Mexico Is Better Made). This initiative, supported by over 30 companies from various sectors, aims to promote national pride and increase consumption of domestic products. Additionally, Mexico leads global growth in retail e-commerce and continues to attract international brands, contributing to the prosperity of shopping centers despite global economic uncertainties. Over the past year, approximately 495,000 Mexican companies have adopted artificial intelligence technologies to enhance their business operations.
