Pemex Reports Armed Robbery on Akal-R Platform in Cantarell, Campeche; 50 Breathing Apparatuses Stolen, No Injuries

Pemex reported an armed robbery on its Akal-R platform located in the Cantarell oil field in the Bay of Campeche. The assailants stole 50 autonomous breathing apparatuses. No injuries were reported, although three employees experienced nervous breakdowns. Pemex immediately activated its security protocol and has filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office (FGR). To bolster its security measures against fuel theft, Pemex is employing drones and the C5 surveillance system.
