
The RansomHub ransomware group has released 210 gigabytes of confidential data from the Mexican government's Legal Counsel Office (Consejería Jurídica del Ejecutivo Federal) on the dark web. The data breach includes sensitive contracts and records, raising significant security concerns. This incident follows a series of cyberattacks attributed to various hacking groups targeting multiple organizations globally, including breaches in Bangladesh, Ecuador, the UAE, Peru, the USA, Italy, and Argentina. In total, these attacks have resulted in the exfiltration of substantial amounts of sensitive data, with ransom demands also being reported, such as 15 Bitcoin (approximately $1.4 million) demanded from the Vermilion Parish School Board in the United States.
